Hiking Route:Yidu to Sanhuangshan to Wudu
Share

Sanhuangshan, revered as the "Holy Land of the Three Sovereigns" since ancient times, is the sacred place of the ancestors of the Chinese people: Fuxi (Heavenly Sovereign), Shennong (Earthly Sovereign), and Xuanyuan (Human Sovereign). The ancestors built the Sanhuang Temple on the steep cliffs of the mountain to worship the "Heaven, Earth, and Human" Sovereigns.
Sanhuangshan is the only large-scale karst landform in the north. The wildflowers on the cliffs are more beautiful than a sea of flowers, unexpectedly becoming the finishing touch of spring here. Witnessing the wonders of nature, you'll be amazed by the continuous mountains and valleys.
But we came at the end of April and didn't see any wild flowers at that time.
This is a fun and varied route, with a diverse landscape and no monotonous stairways. Along the way, you can enjoy rock climbing, which may look challenging but is not too difficult. However, due to previous rainstorms, some sections of the trail have become less friendly, with many side slopes washed away into cliffs and rubble.
If you like adventure, I think you will like this place.
It is a masterpiece of nature, and it is hard to imagine how it was formed.
To ascend to the highest peak and look down upon all the mountains below offers a truly breathtaking panoramic view.
The photo taken from this angle is pretty good.
